Redesign in Great Style

As Jeffrey Bilhuber rightly points out in his book Jeffrey Bilhuber's Design Basics, "Decorative fixes are often more successful _ and certainly less expensive _ than renovation." If you live in Switzerlandyou know this to be the truth, which is what motivated these wonderful clients to reach out. Project Redesign in Great Style was all about using the principles of interior decorating in order to reimagine the layout of each space whilst incorporating the existing furniture and family heirlooms collected over the years. Scale and balance were key, so was mixing styles.

The colour palette celebrates the couple's different backgrounds and the journey to the point where they are now in their lives

The brief was to create a home that felt inviting and functional, with plenty of room to relax, while remaining a reflection of who they are and what they like. So, from adding calming tones to the walls and relocating the fireplace, to pairing an Ikea pillow with a Natuzzi sofa and searching high and low for a lamp shade that would match the dining room furniture upholstery, we are thrilled with the result!
