The brief for this space was to design a girl's bedroom with multiple zones within 15 m2. The idea was to create "a home within the home," so to speak. So we set out to outline exactly what those zones needed to be: dressing and social area; sleeping and day-dreaming area with enough space for sleep-overs; homework & creativity area with plenty of storage; and last but not least, a reading nook. All the while keeping the design flexible in order to easily update it through the coming teenage years and new needs for it.
